MUSIC
The profiled education of the school is expanded in 1989 when a music class was found. Its creator was Antonina Petrova. More than 16 years in the school are studied piano, violin, viola, violoncello, clarinet, bassoon, trumpet, beat instruments, folk and school singing. The classes are taught by 12 teachers – specialists and the results of their tireless and dedicated labour are visible. Many students of the musical classes have accepted art as their destiny. A lot of them have continued and finished their high education in the State Musical Academy “Pancho Vladigerov” in Sofia, the Academy of Music and Dance art in Plovdiv, the Universities in Blagoevgrad, Veloko Tarnovo and Shumen and the High Schools in the country and abroad. Our students have developed their professional preparation in Switzerland, Rumania, USA, Swiss.
The traditions of the school continue in the country and abroad in the spheres of folk singing, opera singing, classical and folk instruments. Our students have won prestige awards in all musical forums where they have taken part in.
Students can enroll the school after a successful competition having completed 8th grade and the entering exam (the date of the exam is specified additionally).Except the average performance from the certificate of a completed 8th grade, the marks from Bulgarian language and literature the entering exam in music takes part, too.

EXPLANATORY NOTES
- The entrance is done with a competition exam according to the order and the conditions set by the regulation from the Ministry of Education.
- The education in music is as follows:
- The education at musical instrument (vocal) and obligatory piano is individual
- For the classes at musical instrument (without piano, accordion and guitar) a vocal co-tutor is used for ? of the classes;
- The course of education continues according to the SEI for degree of education.
- The choice of a foreign language is considered with the wishes of the students and their parents and according to the possibilities of the school.
