CHOREOGRAPHY
A whole continuity in the art education is established in 1993-1994 school year when a new profile (choreography) was found by Todor Alexandrov. Under the guidance of teachers – specialists and their co-tutors hundreds of students make friends with folk music for the rest of their life. Thanks to the teachers’ persistence, ambition and dedication students learn folk and classical dancing.
The education at choreography enables students to gain knowledge, skills and habits in the sphere of dancing that have deep and continuing influence in their spiritual maturing. The every-day communication with the folk keeps the national awareness, the purity of nature and the lave for the native country of the students.
A lot of the students from the choreography classes continue their education in the Academy of Musical and Dance art in Plovdiv and the University in Blagoevgrad. Some of them realize themselves as professional dancers and musicians at the ensembles “Dunav” and “Sever”. For their achievements certify the numerous awards, medals and diplomas that they have won for their participation in regional, national and international festivals and competitions (in Bulgaria, Hungary, Poland, Italy, Macedonia, Serbia and Cherna Gora, Turkey).
Students can enroll the school after a successful competition having completed 8th grade and the entering exam (the date of the exam is specified additionally).Except the average performance from the certificate of a completed 8th grade, the marks from Bulgarian language and literature the entering exam in choreography takes part, too.

EXPLANATORY NOTES
- The entrance is done with a competition exam according to the order and the conditions set by the regulation from the Ministry of Education.
- The secondary education is completed by successfully graduating XII grade
- The education at choreography is taught by a choreographer – specialist together with a co-tutor.
- The course of education is completed with two obligatory state mature exams at: Bulgarian language and literature and one subject from the curriculum according to their own choice.
- The choice of a foreign language is considered with the wishes of the students and their parents and according to the possibilities of the school.
